“If you want to be healthy, you need to get 8 hours of sleep each and every night.”
But, where did this 8-hour number come from?
It turns out, 8 hours of sleep is just an average.
For some people, they only need 6 hours of sleep per night to be well rested. Others may need up to 10 hours.
How do you discover your sleep ‘sweet-spot’?
If you sleep 7 hours and wake up feeling well-rested, then your body is answering the question for you.
The important thing is that you feel well-rested.
Sleep is extremely important, especially if you want to balance your hormones, flatten your tummy and get rid of your muffin top.
3 things happen while you sleep that is important for achieving the sexy toned body you’ve been working so hard for:
1. Your body re-sensitizes to the hormone ‘Leptin’ – this is the hormone that makes you feel full after eating.
2. Cortisol spikes right before you wake you up – The less sleep you get, the more cortisol is released. Cortisol is a common hidden-cause of stubborn belly fat, bloating, and muffin top.
