As a lot of you know from my recent posts, I had been training and competed in June at INBA City Nationals championships, which is a natural body building competition, whith different divisions from bikini, fitness model all the way to seeerious muscle building, which is called physique.

I decided to train for a competition because I wanted to train with a purpose, and I wasn’t happy with my body, it stopped responding to my current training. I wanted a change! 

I read something one day that really got stuck in my head: ‘If you took all that energy you put towards complaining about your body into changing it, you would be amazed with the results”. Well I figured if I just spent half of that energy, I would be good to go!

When I started I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I committed to finishing whatever was ahead of me and make the most of it.

From my early twenties I have always exercised, sometimes less, sometimes more, but I have never trained for anything competitively in my life, so I figured it was time to take it to the next level. I didn’t quite know what to expect, so I kept an open mind, and decided to go with the flow.


My results in just 8 weeks!

I hired a coach to help me, but I was warned very early on to leave all my nutritional theories I learned at college at the door step, and let her take me for the ride. I struggled with this, but I did as she asked.…for the most part… 😉

This allowed me to learn as much about my body as possible; it also allowed for no expectations and being happy with my improving results every week.

With a little bit of guidance and encouragement, I was able to sculpt the body I’ve always dreamed of, but I never thought I could have, blaming it all on ‘bad genetics’. Let me tell you…there is no such thing!

During my preparations I learned more about training and discipline than any text book could ever teach me, and I am so ready to share it all with you!
