  • 1 medium head cauliflower
  • 1-2 fresh red chillies, diced & deseeded
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3-4 spring onions, diced
  • 2 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy /tamari/ or coconut amino sauce
  • 3 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon ghee or coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Turmeric and Coconut Cauliflower Rice Method:


  1. In a food processor, process the cauliflower until it resembles rice consistency.
  2. Heat the oil in large pan or wok and saute the garlic, chilli and ginger for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add cauliflower, shredded coconut and the spices and saute for 20 minutes on low to medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. At the end toss in the spring onion and serve immediately.
